Note: You can get this card more than once, so even if you’ve gotten it in the past, many people have been able to get the same bonus numerous times.
Reasons to get it: I picked up this card myself in  my most recent round of applications because Alaska Airlines discount travel package miles are some of the most valuable miles out there (2 cents apiece discount travel package in my most recent valuation ), and one of my priorities this year has been to build up my stash of miles to redeem for more incredible redemptions like my recent Emirates first class trip home from Mumbai via Dubai for just 90,000 Alaska miles. The offer is technically targeted towards elite members, but I ended up getting all 40,000 miles after $10,000 in spend (there s also an offer for 30,000 miles after first purchase).

Reasons to get it: The sign-up discount travel package bonus alone is worth ~$440 in travel statement credits, discount travel package and if you re already maxed out on Amex and Chase cards, you might want to consider applying for cards from other issuers like Barclaycard. Reasons to get it: Thanks to the merger with American Airlines, this card will transition to an American Airlines Mastercard discount travel package sometime in 2015 and its benefits will change, so get it while you can still maximize its value with the companion certificates. Other Benefits: Rotating quarterly bonuses that allow you to earn 5 points per dollar in certain categories, up to $1,500 per quarter. 1 point per dollar on other spending. Reasons to get it: Well, it had to come to an end. The 100k offer on this card was around for several months, but it finally seems to have expired, per this FlyerTalk thread , so this 75k offer is currently the best one out there. Though lower, this offer is still worth applying for because the minimum spending threshold has gone down proportionally, and the fact that this card is one of the best out there for earning elite-qualifying miles through spend . Plus, if you value lounge access, this one is a no-brainer, especially since the Amex Platinum cards no longer offer Admirals Club access.

Alaska Airline is offering a similar double mile promotion that earns double redeemable miles and on

Virgin America is jumping on the Seattle double mile promotion bandwagon, matching the bonus opportunities that Delta and Alaska have been offering to members of their own loyalty program for the last year. Similar to the Delta promotion offer, not only is Virgin offering double redeemable miles, but is offering double elite miles that count toward elite qualification for those who register . Double miles are only available on nonstop flights from Seattle to San Francisco and Los Angeles. Yet, if you are flying Virgin America to Florida from New York, the nonstop portion of the flight from Seattle to LAX or SFO still earns double miles!
This means three airlines are now offering double miles from Seattle. Delta has the best double mile promotion and is offering double miles and double elite qualifications for ALL Seattle flight that are purchased and flown by December 31, 2014. Yet, I warn travelers, Delta has one of the worst frequent flyer programs in the country. Their loyalty program is moving to a revenue based program in 2015 (similar to Virgin America Elevate), and has horrible redemption rates. Meanwhile Alaska still has a loyalty cheap hotel rooms in myrtle beach program based on mile flown, 1 mile per 1 dollar and has most satisfied frequent flyers in the industry.
Alaska Airline is offering a similar double mile promotion that earns double redeemable miles and on their most popular routes. This promotion goes through the end of the year. Be sure to register for this program to qualify.
In addition, during the summer months, while Alaska is competing with Delta for customers traveling to/from Alaska, cheap hotel rooms in myrtle beach Alaska is offering double miles via a summer double mile promotion. Register for this promotion, before flying and do note that flights to Juneau and Fairbanks do not earn double elite qualifying miles.
No matter who you are flying to/from flying from Seattle this summer and fall, travelers win when it comes to earning miles on flights to and from Seattle. Also do not forget, for new Virgin Fliers, not only can you earn double points/miles but you can earn between a $50 and $150 credit if you are a new Elevate member.

Even though Alaska Airlines is not part of any alliance, they're partnered with 14 airlines that you can redeem your Alaska miles on. So it may surprise you to know that you can fly to just about anywhere in the world using your Alaska national rv travel trailer Airlines miles.
Not only can you redeem your miles on domestic Alaska Airlines flights, but you can also redeem them for flights on any of their partner airlines. This series will show you the best ways you can earn and use Alaska miles.
Alaska Airlines has one of the easiest websites for booking online awards. You can select a date with your origin and destination and search and award calendar that shows you all the dates and award prices for the whole month. Plus, when you select a day the results show all award options on all partner airlines.
Alaska has different national rv travel trailer types of awards and each one has a certain amount of award seat capacity per flight. In future posts we'll cover how to book each of these awards and how to find the lowest price. 1. Alaska Airline Awards
You can book refundable Coach Awards that offer maximum flexibility, national rv travel trailer but it s generally not a good idea due to the increase in costs. The cost of a refundable Coach ticket is almost twice the cost of the lowest Coach Award price level, so it is generally never a good deal unless you re sure you will need to change or possibly cancel your flight. There are two price levels for Coach Award travel and both are capacity controlled. You re get 1 cent per mile when you redeem miles for a Money Miles Award, but you also earn Alaska miles for the distance flown on the award. 2. Partner Awards
When you use Alaska miles on partner airlines you only have one award type available. All award space on partners is capacity controlled and it differs across airlines, but if it's available it will show up on the award calendar when you search.
This is where the award charts come in. Each partner award has its own award chart, so you can easily look it up to see how much it costs to fly to a specific zone on each airline. This is also why you will have several different prices come up when you search for awards.
Partner awards are only offered as Standard Awards, national rv travel trailer meaning there is only one price for each cabin. Availability is limited on partner awards, so every flight may not have seats that you can redeem using miles during busy times.
Mix and Match Awards allows you to use one partner in one direction and return on another partner. You can only fly on one partner airline in addition to Alaska Airlines on an award, so booking one-ways is the best way to book flexible awards.
Most of Alaska's partners allow one-way awards and it costs half the price of a round trip award. So, there is no reason to not book one-way awards. However, Delta and Korean Airlines national rv travel trailer do not allow one-way national rv travel trailer awards.

Concord Hospitality Enterprises, of Raleigh, cruising yachts N.C., has sold a portfolio of 13 premium-branded, select-service hotels to companies owned by a global investment fund for approximately $240 million cruising yachts in an all-cash transaction, Concord announced Monday. The buyer was not disclosed.
“This sale is a continuation of our ongoing plan to strategically sell stabilized assets while retaining management,” Concord president/CEO Mark Laport said in a release. “This gives our investors an attractive return on their development investment while providing long-term, sustainable growth opportunities for the companies that buy these assets.”
With the exception of one hotel, Laport added, the average age of the hotels is less than five years, and all are in “excellent physical condition,” having been developed, rebranded or substantially updated by Concord.
Concord will continue to focus its acquisition and development efforts in locations with high or growing concentrations of medical, educational, banking and technology industries, Laport continued, while growing its third-party management business through retained management of sold assets and strategic cruising yachts alliances with other ownership groups.
The company currently has 10 hotels cruising yachts under construction at a cost of about $440 million with financing in place and expects cruising yachts to open all of them over the next 18 months. We had started off at the 17,464-mile mark. From our home in Southern Massachusetts, we drove past Rhode Island, Connecticut and New York without stopping. The very first stop of our trip was Princeton (NJ) and it took us slightly less than 5 hours to reach. Below are some of the sights during the 1.5hr walking tour around the campus. On day 2, we spent the earlier part of the morning exploring the Princeton campus district where we saw many interesting sculptures and monuments. We started heading towards Arlington (VA) before noon time on I-95. When we reached Delaware, we decided to drop by the Delaware Tourist Info Center which is located on I-95 for lunch, refuel and to grab some maps/brochures. By the time we reached our hotel (Hilton Garden Inn Arlington), it was already getting dark and we were a little tired. So we decided to just grab dinner at the nearby Ray's Hell Burger before turning in for the night. If you wait until 9:30 to head out you'll pay lower fares and may even get a train that has seats available. At least the Metro will not be aswarm with tourists in addition to commuters in Feb.
