In an Australian first, the International Cruise Council broadway show tickets and hotel of Australia has responded to the surge in the popularity of cruising by holding a National Cruise Week, which started on Monday and finishes on Sunday September 9. Billed as 'Australia's largest cruise promotion' the week encourages ICCA member travel agents to hold a range of events such as barbecues, film nights and online promotions.
ICCA General Manager Brett Jardine broadway show tickets and hotel said National Cruise Week would be the largest consumer promotion ever undertaken by the local cruise industry, with 28 ICCA member cruise lines and more than 1,000 member travel agents taking part across Australia and New Zealand.
MSC Cruises is one cruise line that has got behind the promotion, offering $1 fares for second passengers (plus port charges) on their October and November sailings out of Venice and Genoa. Passengers can choose from 15- 19-night cruises, which will journey to Cape Town in South Africa, Santos or Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, or Antilles broadway show tickets and hotel in the Caribbean.
