My cousins are planning a family reunion get away in Cancun for two weeks this summer. I keep trying to get them to consider Playa but a few have been out there and don't think there is enough to do, so I've been out voted. It's going to be Cancun for sure

Those who have been to PDC find that for two weeks, some will get bored. I am so out voted that it's annoying And, I did tell them about this site but everyone wants to say We were in Cancun! Especially the old aunts, uncles, grandparents las vegas downtown hotels type of age. They are excited because they've never been. We can still have fun I guess. Maybe we'll also get a car and try to haul some of them to PDC to see what they missed?
I have been trying to find a similar forum where folks talk mainly about Cancun and came across a site with some horrible las vegas downtown hotels comments! OMG, I had to send them on to the major cousins so now they're finally trying to convince the older folks that we need PDC or Cozumel. Not sure that I would take the little ones to Cancun. What if we end up in a party hotel?
We took our kids there when they were 7 and 10. There is stuff for them to do. We went to Isla Muijers and rented a golf cart to cruise around the island. las vegas downtown hotels Went to the waterpark. They loved the silly antics that they do at Senor Frogs and Carlos and Charlies. We stayed at the Grande Caribe, but I think its renamed now.
You might want to try some of the Royal timeshares and see about renting a condo for the two weeks. With a big group it might be cheaper. Check out renting unsold ones or even renting from owners. las vegas downtown hotels We rented from owners at the Royal Sands with another couple and it was cheaper then two hotel rooms. Plus its nice to have a kitchen to fix a quick breakfast or lunch for the kids. The Royals have a small grocery las vegas downtown hotels store right on the property and the prices are reasonable. They didnt try to push the timeshare on us either.
Yup, I've stayed at the Blue Bay Getaway. It is definately las vegas downtown hotels an adult resort, and not just any adult! a lot of very....racey things going on, lots of toplessness and outright nudity, and a lot of swinging if you go for that. (we didn't!)
There are some great family-friendly hotels in Cancun. Cancun is not Playa, but it has it's own merits for sure. The water there can be more rough, but more fun to play in. The beaches are beautiful. Lots of nightlife.
