it s all pretty much a rip off. preying on parents and kids dreams is what it is all about. that s w

Ingham, who has played varsity baseball since the eighth grade, joins La Salle senior second baseman J.P. Sportman as Section II players headed to CCSU. The duo will sign their national letter of intents Friday at Geer Field in Troy. Ingham and Sportman play their summer and fall baseball with the South Troy Dodgers.
What a surprise, James Allen reports on another ST player. brentwood city of los angeles I wonder if other players who don t play at ST ever play baseball at the college level. I don t think it is section II baseball but rather ST section II baseball according to Allen.
Robert Tedeseco (Siena), Josh Nethaway (UAlbany), Justin Brantley (Siena), Caleb Gleason (Saint Rose), Kyle Baldani (Siena), Jordan Zareski brentwood city of los angeles (Saint Rose), Jaime Schultz (High Point), Mike Petelli (High Point) and Christian Garcia (UAlbany) all were written up either on the blog or in the paper since last September and none of them played for South Troy.
I can answer that question for you. Do other players who dont play at South Troy play at the college level. The answer is easy. NO, The best players in this area play at South Troy. So stop givin James a hard time. He reports on the best players who just happen to all play for South Troy.
# 4 if they were that great you would have named them. read the TU sports. most of the players that do the best play for South Troy. you can t deny that. name some local teams that are better . wait, there are none.
Why do all the posts on this seem to be about where the player plays and not about what they have done or how you think they will do at the school they are going. People we are talking about kids going on and playing at the next level who got them there should not be the issue.
#3 and #5, who are the best 3 teams in the suburban? shen shaker and saratoga, right? well, I don t believe that Shen s top pitchers prendergast/dempsey/kalish or shakers top 2 pitchers nowak/hoffman and togas top 2 pitchers- moore/coleman, none to my knowledge pay stroy, i could be wrong. how is that possible that those 3 teams are the best 3 in the suburbanand there top pitchers dont play stroy .oh, i guess there are other good players out there that play elsewhere
Stop talking about South Troy. We all know they are the best team in the area in the summer. But who cares. There are more teams in the world besides the cocky and arrogant South Troy teams. As number 8 here says there are other good players out there that play elsewhere. Enough talk about summer baseball. Isn t it school ball right now? Get over yourself number 3.
Comment #8 hit it right on the spot. Who cares about South Troy it s the school season and they are just so in love with themselves it is disturbing. NOBODY CARES ABOUT SUMMER TEAMS RIGHT NOW IT S THE SCHOOL SEASON SO just stop.
#8 there is a reason why none of those pitchers play south troy..they arent as good as the ones who do. its as simple as that. yes there are good players who dont play for south troy. but overall the dodgers have most of the top talent around.
#8 your number # 1 shen pitcher never made South Troy. And the rest of that group and the shaker kids all got beat by Dodger teams last season. No clue about the Saratog kids. Read the TU sports today. Cogswell from Shen is a South Troy kid and one of the best around.plus the shen catcher plays there. lets talk good teams when one wins a state title. i cant see any of these teams doing that. the best baseball is played in the summer. you should know that. you never hear about the kids you mentioned in the summer. so once again like #5 said. the best play for South Troy
Of course the Dodgers are the best in the area because they draw kids from Central NY down to Westchester NY. Many of their players are not from this area so its a silly argument. So please will the So Troy Dodger elitists stop tooting their own horn!
South troy baseball should not even be talked brentwood city of los angeles about in these blogs. south troy does not help put kids in the right position after high school. look at some of their former players in college and tell me how they are doing. I am hearing their boy Charron is not even playing. parents need to ask some tough questions before they spend alot of cash just to play summer baseball
There is a simple answer to all of this South Troy does typically get the premier players in the area, however maybe not all of them because there is only so many roster spots!!!The brentwood city of los angeles good players being left out probably don t have a spot and are either just as good or not as good as the players there so why would they take a chance on taking a new kid when they have the same talent and someone that s already been committed to the organization. Typically all of those guys on the older team have been on the teams for at least two years, specifically Ingham who s been there since he was 13!!! Yeah its expensive, but the exposure can get you to college baseball and really that s all that matters. #15- How can you say it doesn t put them in the in the right position they have kids going D1 D2 D3 all the time and do YOU really know how hard it is to play pro ball!!! Only like 1% of all college players play pro ball! and BTW Charron is the #2 hitter everyday at Iona might wanna do some research before you post stuff that s not true. Its blatantly brentwood city of los angeles obvious I mean come on saying there not is totally ridiculous
anyone can go to the schools that the south troy dodgers sends kids to. my point is that parents should save all that money they charge because the kids high school coach can get them into the same school free of charge. dont believe the hype of the south troy dodgers. parents look at the list of schools these kids go to and if it was me i would not be paying all that money for central conn state or usc upstate. i would expect bigger and better exposure than that. oh dont forget iona i mean come on with this overated program. stay within your local communites and let your high school caoch do just the same for free
# 15. You must have failed math in school. The money you pay to play for south troy is a fraction of the price of attending a division 1,2 or 3 college. If you can get any part of a scholorship it is worth more then paying 4 years of tuition. You obviously have no clue what you are talking about. Look at the end of the year and how many kids receive scholorships from playing in that great organization. Your attack on the Charron boy is uncalled for. Obviously brentwood city of los angeles you are jealous of kyle. He is a great kid and athlete that is currently starting for the Iona Gaels along with former south troy dodger chris sand. So do these other local baseball teams let you play for free ?
#18 People like yourself who spend as mutch time bashing a program brentwood city of los angeles like south troy are the ones who wish they were in it.The players and parents in the south troy baseball family love what they do for them. One thing you need to remember is there is no guarantees in this game.Coaches do project on players and sometimes they just don t work out.
it s all pretty brentwood city of los angeles much a rip off. preying on parents and kids dreams is what it is all about. that s why parents spend thousands and thousands of dollars to travel from all parts of the country to go to dream park in cooperstown as 12 year olds who think they could be the next big leaguer. no doubt; fun for the kids. dreams brentwood city of los angeles for the parents. worth it all the same for a one time national tournament brentwood city of los angeles like that and thats why those guys have made millions and millions of dollars but not neccessarily good for over spending families for playing three or four year s for programs where you may have to travel many miles and spend lots and lots of time to just get to your home field.
let s be honest; any time you get paid(like the south troy dodgers coaches and head guy do) to run a youth program; you are doing it primarily for yourself and not the kids; for both the cash and the ego as being known as the best as south troy is. my opinion is that the south troy program and the coaches at the younger levels of 13-16 or 17 are usually no better than the coaches or program from many of the other locally based travel baseball programs. parents who are willing brentwood city of los angeles to spend lots and lots of of cash for paid coaches and lots and lots of time traveling miles to to south troy just for home games; are fooling themselves if they truly believe that if by having their kids play for the south troy dodgers starting at age 12 or 13 get s them anywhere, they are wrong because the only true team that really matters for south troy is the elite 18 team. many kids that have played for the south troy dodgers since 13 never even get close to getting a sniff to making that elite 18 team so why waste your money and time traveling miles just to play for any other south troy team when you can play on a local travel team from 13-17 with your friends brentwood city of los angeles and adequate coaches where you can play your home games at yes; near your home. parents don t realize that the younger south troy teams are just the feeder monies to support the elite team s traveling brentwood city of los angeles expenses coaching staff so that they can make money off of parents dreams.
believe me, if your kid turns out that he is truly good enough to be a prospect come his junior season in hs, he will be found or approached or given a spot in an open tryout to be on the elite 18 team and if he is good enough brentwood city of los angeles he will earn a spot on that elite team without a moment of hesitation over a kid who is not as talented brentwood city of los angeles who has been in the south troy system for years.
First Of All South Troy,Does have 90% of the best players in the area!Second they are the best club in the area on placing kids in a better position to play college ball , than any high school or any other club in the area!!For example Tommy Kahnle looking at going from Rd. 1 Supplement to 3rd rd. in this yrs. draft. Also Greg Hollie who is also looking brentwood city of los angeles at being drafted also.So all you non believers need to sit back and smell the coffee. Sounds like a bunch of bitter local area parents who s kids were not picked to be on th
