First of all. I love it more than I ever thought I would. Second, I'm definitely going to go all out with performance mods, visual upgrades/changes...etc... but as of right now, listing all the changes I want to do and then organizing them by priority and then cost.
I'm new here too. For some reason, I love low horsepower, good handling cars too. I'd had 1st and 2nd gen. RX-7's. Got away from sports-cars and now finally I have my 90 MX5. Maybe it's because I've been out of sports cars for a while but this little car seems more balance than both of my RX's and it's got bad shocks and miss matched shitty, tires. I cant's discounted airline fares wait to see what it would do with some good tires and a proper suspension!
Don't bother trying to pull out the wiring - just leave it in place - it's too much trouble and your talking about OUNCES - MAYBE. discounted airline fares in fact the whole system doesn't weigh more than a pound or two so u aren't saving discounted airline fares much in weight. Now if you're removing it for the sake of simplifying, well, I can see that argument.
Don't forget to plug that manifold port. What are you going to do with the stalk controls? Do you have another set of controls to swap in? Are you familiar with the airbag system and how to safely disable it? Do you know how to reclock the steering column after you pull the wheel? Do you have a manual?

Removing the big can from the engine bay isn't hard. Just undo the nut from the gas pedal, discounted airline fares use a pair of needle nose pliers to squeeze (squeeze at 12 and 6 o'clock) and push the firewall connection towards the front at the same time and you can extract the whole part as one unit.
