Live theater. There is nothing quite like it to open up your mind to a world of possibilities and valuable lessons. We were very lucky to be invited to the Ogunquit Playhouse this week to see South Pacific. vacation rentals near walt disney world It's a classic musical by Rodgers and Hammerstein and I loved it. The themes of this show are unbelievably close to Filled With Nothing : Bullying, Prejudice, Hatred, Violence, looking for hope, the stupidity vacation rentals near walt disney world of the mundane and even a mention of Proust, all set against a backdrop of love.
What was even better was being invited backstage for a private tour, meeting Branch Fields , the male lead, getting to stand on the stage and seeing all of the mechanics of how these productions are run. There really is no such thing as a touring summer stock theater anymore. Each show is individually cast and produced in Ogunquit and it was amazing to see the support for tradition that this group espoused. Bravo! I totally recommend that you see this show because live theater of this quality is not going to last forever.
