Members of The Florida Task Force on African American History (AAHTF), the United Nation's Educational Scientific discovery travel channel Cultural Organization (UNESCO), discovery travel channel and the Transatlantic Slave Trade (TST) Education Project are partnering with BlackHistoryTours.com, Inc. and historically black colleges and universities to offer an educational adventure tour: The African American Heritage Tour , from July 10-15.
The six day African American Heritage Tour is made possible thanks to a myriad of supporters and contributors, including discovery travel channel city commissioners, The Smithsonian Institution, former Congressman Kendrick Meek and Rep. Geraldine Thompson are among the supporters.
While traveling to cities from Pasco/Hillsborough to Tallahassee, Jacksonville to St. Augustine and Daytona Beach to Orlando, tour participants will explore various topics and themes in African Diaspora discovery travel channel history and culture. The tour features deluxe motor coach transportation provided by American Bus Lines of South Florida. Accommodations are provided at four-star hotels featuring Innisbrook Golf Resort , Hotel Duval , Wyndham Jacksonville Riverwalk, Lake Mary Marriott and the Rosen Plaza , with each hotel providing meals and receptions to support this important cause.
