Although Intercontinental Hotels isn t a trendy brand, it is well respected internationally travel to tibet from australia and will be a solid 4 star addition to Downtown. With 900 rooms, this property would have been too large for brands like W, which will likely setup elsewhere in Downtown.
Don t see any ground floor retail. WHAT THE HECK?! I like the initial rendering with ground floor retail travel to tibet from australia and beautiful LED imaging on the building. This is beautiful but lacking of many great features that were presented in the first renderings. Great opportunity but fail. And it s not the tallest building. The US Bank still is. The spire doesn t count. LAME. Oh well.
Topher, as the article states, the building will have more than 45,000 square feet of ground floor retail.. this one rendering may not convey that to your liking, but rest assured 45,000 sq ft is a ton of retail.. On your second point on the architectural lighting travel to tibet from australia , this article states that it is still part of the project, and I have no reason to think otherwise. The developers fought hard to include that (the lighting received travel to tibet from australia quite a backlash from the community and if i recall the planning committe staff even reccomended the city approve the project without the lighting) so i doubt they d just drop it at this point. One more point i d mention about that LED lighting is that the original image you saw in the early renderings was only a place holder (much as the actual building design was only a placeholder then too, not an official rendering. it was just there to give us an idea of the direction travel to tibet from australia they were going).
