"It was crazy because Marc (Lacomare) got a 10 right at the end and I couldn't believe it! I got really nervous, but he still needed to get another good score and no other waves came through. I'm just so happy that everything worked out. It was an amazing week here, the waves were great and I'm stoked with the win."

I had dinner last night at the Allegria. For $19.95 I had an incredible meal! Asparagus and spinach soup (sounds awful but delicious) and sea bass. Plus a 1/2 price bottle of wine. For three people with a tip the cost was $100. Got there at 6, gorgeous view of the ocean and boardwalk and left just as the setting sun was streaking the sky with pink. Aaah, Long Beach!!

Conflict simmers in Oahu ahead of the Planning Commission's reno dollar rental cars Public Hearing 10 am. - 2 pm. on Wednesday, August 24th., continuing discussion on a controversial bill designed to root out vacation reno dollar rental cars rentals in residential reno dollar rental cars neighborhoods. The Department of Planning Permitting asked the Planning Commission reno dollar rental cars to approve ordinances that will improve the laws regarding the enforcement of "illegal" visitor accommodations in residential neighborhoods, which has inflamed the community. Many mom and pop businesses offer accommodations to Hawaiian visitors, but they have no legal process to do so and have been crying out for one. Permits have generally been denied since 1989.
"Oahu residents have the right to live in residential neighborhoods without the proliferation of illegal visitor accommodations operating next to their homes," says KIK (Keep It Kailua). "It s time the City enforced the law!" However, their rhetoric flies in the face of travel industry demand, tourist preferences, and the rights of fellow citizens in Hawaii to earn a living.
KIK further states, "Oahu s residential communities have been plagued by illegal vacation rentals operating in residentially zoned areas. These illegal businesses, including transient vacation units (TVU s) and bed breakfast lodges (B B s), reduce the inventory of long-term housing for local residents and adversely alter the character and social fabric of residential neighborhoods. They take revenue away from properly reno dollar rental cars licensed reno dollar rental cars hotels in properly zoned areas such as Waikiki, Ko Olina and Turtle Bay and compromise neighborhood security watch programs. These illegal vacation rentals also compromise Hawaii s sexual predator laws and negatively impact neighboring property values."
The City Administration and the Department of Planning and Permitting (DPP) proposed the Bill to Amend #21 and put it on the fast track for passage. Despite their haste, the word still spread among the citizens of Hawaii, galvanizing many to oppose it. My family and I was impressed with the beauty, comfort and convenience of this three bedroom, three bath condominium. We love Hawaii, but get tired of the hustle and bustle of Wakiki and find Ko Olina as a peaceful alternative. The owner is very easy to deal with and our family will be a frequent visitor. You can't go wrong renting this beautiful unit.
We stayed at the Beach Villas 2 years ago but this particular villa was very nice. It had all the amenities that we needed in the kitchen and a very comfortable and nice round dining table that was perfect for the 6 of us. We would wake up in the morning and sit on the Lanai eating our breakfast while watching the lagoon from our view. It was perfect! The beds were heavenly! All the beds in the rooms felt new because they were very comfortable and the bed sheets were modern. Our kids are 4 and 7 so they didn't need a playpen or highchair but those were available in the closet for use if families needed them. We stayed at this Villa for a week during April. We had 3 different couples and it was perfect for our situation because each room has at least a queen size bed along with 3 bathrooms. There are great views of the ocean and the unit is stocked with all of amenities you would look for. Khanh was especially great to work with. His responses were timely and he was very proactive with his communication. I would highly recommend staying in this unit.

Incredible property !!! - we had 8 adults and one infant for a family re-union over 2 weeks. We came from New Zealand and New York - so we reasoned that Hawai`i pierre hotel new york was sort-of midway for families to travel . Location is unbelievable, very private, quiet and absolutely beachfront, right smack in the middle of the Kailua Beach . The beach itself has excellent swimming and was never crowded. Most days we had 100 - 200 metres of beach front completely to ourselves ( April ) Property was first class. Bedrooms are large with air conditioning plus ceiling fans each with excellent ensuites. Master ensuite is unbelievably luxurious. Kitchen had excellent facilities - we cooked our own gourmet meals onsite. Pool ( very deep one-end for diving ), spa and fountain were very well maintained. A nice extra was night lighting in the pool making night swims quite magical. All round if you have that little extra money that enables you to stretch the vacation budget I would definitely pierre hotel new york look at this property. In a way the online photos do not even do justice to the highlights of this property. Kailua Beach is the best all round beach on the Island. We were easily able to explore the rest of the Island with rental cars. We did stay 3 nights in Waikiki. But my advice would be - don't stay anymore. Spend more time on the Beach !
This was the first vacation I've taken with a lot of family members (12)and everyone was extremely satisfied with the rental property. It could not have been better. Even the teenagers told me many times the house and beach were the best ever. Most of the time we all were satisfied staying at home and enjoying the pool, hot tub and the beach.
