Taylor-Broughton's grandfather, Jack Taylor, started the company in 1957 with seven vehicles. He named it after the USS Enterprise, the historic World War II aircraft carrier on which he served, according to the company.
"This appointment represents a significant milestone for the Taylors and for the Enterprise family overall," Enterprise President Pamela Nicholson said in a statement. "Chrissy is a member of the third generation of the Taylor norwegian wind princess cruises family involved in the ownership norwegian wind princess cruises and management of the company. She has spent 13 years learning its business operations, disciplines and strategies, and is now ready to take on this key leadership role."
