I am in debt, and the only traveling I have done in the past few years is to drive to visit my child
I have never been to Hawaii. travel agent sites It will be a great honor and privillage for me to have a Hawaii Cruise vaccation. It is my prayer that God makes it possible for me one day, as the bible says he grants us our hearts desires if we ask according to His will. Have a blessed day
Yes I went to Hawaii many years ago and it was a bad trip, because I was with my now x-wife... who was being a wench. Otherwise the trip was good. I prefer a trip that I took to Thailand last year which was $1349 for 13 days including round trip to Thailand, transportation in Thailand, all breakfasts, all 1st class hotels, some tour activities and it was a great time. It was with smartours which is a dot com on the web. Great trip. I think that it's good to go where you can afford the trip and Thailand is the place!
We've got a fight, here, in a blog about if anyone has taken a cruise to Hawaii. Man, unbelievable! I thought Christianet was putting in this post, in league with someone paying to get advertising of Hawaiian vacation cruises. But this is getting subtly into a prosperity travel agent sites gospel debate and who is a real person or not . . . pretty travel agent sites feisty. Hi, Susan . . . I'm Bill . . . glad to meet you. I'd say you are a real person. But I think Obama making the rich and the workers equal . . . notice how so much attention is going to what happens with money. And boasting about cruises someone has been on? be content with such things as you have (in Hebrews travel agent sites 13:5) I have lived with well-to-do people. The MISERY travel agent sites of sin is equal.
NurseRobert...Please do not confuse Susan with me. We are not the same person. I would never borrow money for a vacation. At our house the priority is the ministry of Jesus Christ. I agree with you that Susan is just being silly and trying to irritate people. She's not a real person. Just another pretender! Susie is my real first name.
Susan: I think we get the BIG picture now. You are envious over your fellow rich friends in the church. I understand you want to go on a nice vacation. My husband and I took out a loan to see the huge Aquiramum in Tennessee. It was worth it, we was loaned $2,000 cause we (especially our two children had a blast). But we paid that loan off, by paying working harder and paying our tithes. We didn't get a payday loan to pay off a debt that we brought on ourselves. I agree that a hard working family needs a break and go on a nice vacation. But break it down, if you can't afford another payment right now, then don't bring anything upon what you can't pay. Use common sense.
I am in debt, and the only traveling I have done in the past few years is to drive to visit my children who live in other states. No cruises, no hotel trips, no luxuries. It is dishonoring to the Lord to spend money frivolously while owing money to others. That is poor stewardship, travel agent sites and you are obviously not interested in honoring the Lord with your money.
I guess I could consider travel agent sites a European cruise since it is closer than Hawaii, however I think they are even more expensive? Maybe someone here knows? Mark my words, Obama will get me and millions of other hard working people a good refund check in 2009 for at least $1,500. You know what, we earned it versus the free loading rich people in corporate America. Tax those Exxons and lets spread some of the benefits down to us harder working people.
Susan by all means keep your dream but also be realistic about it. Don't look for Obama to give you a windfall amount of money to make it possible, that is a fantasy not a dream. A dream can be made to come true,a fantasy can't. A dream is possible,a fantasy is usually so big it isn't possible. I suggest you start putting all your change in a large bottle and save it until you have enough for a cruise. My husband did that and in about 3 or 4 years he had two thousand dollars. Don't ever go into debt either for things you can do without. Start small with a 5 day cruise to Caribbean instead of one of the most expensive ones you can find. There are some beautiful things to be seen closer to the USA Mainland.
Susan, please do not bring Obama into your little fantasy about going on a Hawaiian cruise. He is not going to give you the money to go on one. The tax breaks he is going to try to allow are for meeting needs, not sending you on luxury vacations when you are not being frugal with your money now.
Obviously you have an entitlement attitude, and that is not befitting a person who is a child of God. Do you know Jesus Christ as your personal saviour? I suggest you develop a personal relationship with Him and seek HIS will for your life, especially your finances.
Obama wants everyone that can work to have a job and not only do I have a job, but two jobs. I never understood him to say he wants people to work two or three jobs at $8 per hour and never enjoy any of life while others make $100 per hour and get to enjoy all of lifes pleasures. Like I said I might not be able to afford a Hawaii cruise today, but let me dream, please. I believe that once Obama evens the playing field with the rich then I can take the cruise next year. My understanding is that he wants to give all the middle income and poor people $1,500 travel agent sites while the rich start to pay their fair share. Who cares if I go to Hawaii with my check. I mean really.
I do understand, Susie.. You're eyes are NOT on God, but on the material things travel agent sites of this world. I would have to question just what kind of friends brag about their cruises. And who ever said life was fair?
You just don't seem to fully understand NurseRobert. I have several rich friends in church and they are always bragging about how many cruises they have taken, how many times they have been to Europe. I have never been outside the state of Maryland where I live never mind those fancy trips. I believe I have earned the right to take a nice vacation maybe not a Hawaii cruise, but at least something. Can't the poor even dream. That is why I voted for Obama as he will help even the playing field and for once it will be my turn to have a cruise.
NurseRobert I hear what you say, however I believe with our new President in office things are going to change for the better especially for those of us that are poor and middle income. Now that the rich will be taxed more to help the rest of us, I expect more money coming my way to start enjoying life a little more and not to be so tired. It's only fair and that is why I voted for Obama to bring back fairness to the pay scale and letting the rest of us enjoy some of life.
I would love to go to Hawaii. But I can't afford to go. A $1,000 for a person? Okay with my family that is $4,000 to go on a cruise. If I had so much money that I had to spend it or I'd lose it, then yeah I would consider going on a cruise. But $4,000 is a lot of money that I can pay on my bills, and add onto my house. It isn't worth it. Why not take that money you are willing to spend and take your family camping on a Campground for 2 weeks? I would much rather go camping than go to Hawaii. I love to camp. But that is me.
Susan even if you find a cruise for $1000.00 that is only the base cost. There's tax and Port charges added which run $100.00+,there's $10.00 a day tips charge for people who care for room or waiter,a 14 day trip would be $140.00 person and there is added a $10.00 a day fuel charge,14 days $140.00 a person. That adds up,about $1380.00 for inside room, outside or balcony higher. You must pay shore excursions you take to points of interest,cost,$50.00 to $100.00 a site of interest. You pay extra for sodas or bottled water to take ashore, large bottle $3.00. travel agent sites You see there are a lot of hidden costs, plus if you have to catch a flight to get to and from the Port City.
Susan...Thanks for being honest. Now I realize you are just playing games on this blog. Do you know Jesus? Have you accepted HIM as your Savior and the Son of God who died on the cross for your sins? He can change your whole life into a life of fullfillment through HIM.
Susan, beloved child of God, think. Two thousand dollars would go a long way in reducing your debts. Think about the interest savings and the peace of mind of knowing that you are that much closer to becoming debt free, assuming you are not planning to borrow the money for the trip. If you are, please reconsider. Take some time to separate yourself from the cares of this world, spend some alone time with our Father, doing absolutely nothing. Meditate on His principles and promises and the blessings of life that He has privileged you to experience. Allow that experience to exercise His hope within you and chill. Father knows what you have need of and He will supply. The cruise would be nice, in its time, plan it when you are debt free.
Yes I am the same Susan that wrote about the payday loans. But what's wrong with wanting a Hawaii cruise. I work hard and need a break. Can't you take the cruise for around $1,000 per person? Not bad, uh?
My wife and I took a Hawaii cruise vacation for our honeymoney and loved it. My understanding is that most of the cruises don't do all of the islands. Some islands are more commercial than others. We liked the beach stops the most.
