Our Rotary Finger Lakes District 7120 has negotiated a net group rate of $119 plus taxes per room for 1 or 2 persons at the Holiday Inn Superdome, www.HI-NewOrleans.com , during the Rotary International Convention from May 21 through May 25, 2011.
New Orleans has many unique and interesting things to do, places to go and foods to experience.  Did you know that the nearby St Charles Avenue Streetcar is the oldest continually operating street railway system in the world; St Louis Cathedral is the oldest cathederal in North America; and the above ground tombs are referred to "cities of the dead"?
There are additional optional recommended Rotary events including a RI Saturday evening fun, food, fellowship and fins gala at the Aquarium of the Americas (sign up through www.rotary.org ) and Sunday morning All That Jazz Rotary Breakfast Cruise with Rotarians from our zone (tickets available for $45 from PDG Mark Wyse).
