My car didn't come with them only on diesel models to start with from Germany. Now they are coming from Thailand it's standard across our range. It should be possible to order required parts and have Ford install no?

Now if they were playing out the roll out in other countries then yes not all the German builds would have them initially just like it was supposed to be confined to the SE SFE here, but was really available on several other models.

Unida, the theory behind the use of the grille shutter system was to speed up engine warm up time from cold, and to reduce the drag from the high pressure air pushing through the grille vanguard rental car opening on the freeway when you needed less of it to keep the powertrain at its optimium temperature. When its fully closed or nearly closed it can effectively reduce the aerodynamic drag and increase the efficiency of the car by requiring less power to move through the air. It might only be worth a few percent, but every little change matters.
Of course since its been hot and I don't stand outside of the car as soon as I turn it on and get going I haven't really seen mine closed yet, but then I've had the a/c on pretty much most of the time. Depending on how they programmed it, they may not fully close with the a/c on past a certain percentage to prevent vanguard rental car the condenser from either freezing or vapor locking. It was cold this morning (48F-52F) (8.88C-11.11C) approximately, but I needed to get to work, not examine the grille opening this morning.

Thanks Suss you're a font of knowledge - my interest in the AGS only piqued when I saw it had now become vanguard rental car standard. Really here in Aus I doubt they'd be shut for long but the reduce drag on the freeway is I'm certain the reason why it is now across all models.
