Even though it rained for most of our wedding day, Claudia managed to use the clouds, darkness, and light to her advantage. Thankfully, the clouds broke, and we were able to have the ceremony outside, followed by a brief photo session. “You’re so photogenic!” Believe me, no one has ever said that to me until they saw our wedding photos from Claudia. She is awesome! Easy to work with, easy to communicate with, great suggestions – a totally great package. Like most of the comments here, it’s tough to select a photographer from a distance but she made our decision easy. The BDW web site was great for looking at the various photographers but when I saw Claudia’s work, I knew she was the one. I picked four photographers and asked them each to send a full wedding shoot for us to compare. Then I asked my (then) fiancé which one he liked the best. As we near our second wedding anniversary in our new house I'm excited to be purchasing our wedding photos, FINALLY, because I have somewhere to put the OUTSTANDING moments that Claudia captured to help us remember truly one of the best days of our lives. We had an amazing and unforgettable wedding at Xcaret Ecological Park at sunset. I didn't want to see my husband prior to our Catholic ceremony and Claudia worked with us and new that pictures to capture the unforgettable moments were of utmost important to us! She was able to schedule a day after the ceremony to come back to the park and work with us for a few hours. I know ladies, this may seem like a pain, but, I didn't want to see my husband and was so grateful she was able to accommodate our request!~ We took pictures with our bridal party prior to the ceremony and Claudia did a great job of leading us around the park to capture the natural beauty of where we were at. My Wife and I were married at the Riu Caribe Hotel in Cancun on 12th April 2014.Like everyone else I'm sure, when it came to looking for a photographer to capture our special day it is a bit of a daunting task! there are so many to choose from and how do you know who to choose?! I have to say I was nervous at first about finding a local photographer in Mexico because I did not know what to expect and how I was going to arrange all my wedding details with them. Despite my nervousness, I started researching and looking for local photographers. I saw Claudia's portfolio and I immediately knew I wanted her as my wedding photographer. She has extensive experience in the area I was getting married in. I could tell this because of all the different wedding resorts she has been to. After checking out her website, I knew that I wanted Claudia to be the one to photograph our wedding. Her photos are beautiful, unique and the she seems to be able to capture amazing photos in the most simple ways, using the nature around her. We just got married in February 2014 at the Now Jade Riviera Maya Resort in Mexico. We chose Claudia lodging in south lake tahoe as our wedding photographer because she came highly recommended to us by my brother as well as a friend of ours and it was the best decision we made. From the very first email that was sent was a great experience. She is very timely with responding to emails and even asked a little bit about us on how we first met (I'm pretty sure she is always at her computer working).
