I didn t make the most out of my time in Key West, Florida (read my post  here ), I was determined to explore Cozumel when the boat docked on Day 4. I had stayed at Hotel Riu Palace Las Americas in Cancun few years back and it was just heavenly (that s probably mildly putting it). The water in Cozumel wasn t as calm or turquoise-y compared to Cancun but it was still beautiful.
I went to Mr. Sanchos Beach Club (click here for their website), $17 cab ride away from the port, and got some serious tan. Woohoo! :D Chilling by the beautiful water (pretty shallow on the shore but gets deep pretty quickly) while sipping on few bottles of Dos Equis was exactly what I needed. Once it became too hot, and it gets hot pretty fast down there, I jumped in the cold water to cool off.
The best thing about Mr. Sanchos is that there is no admission fee! If you have kids and want to go on the rides in their Aquatic Park, then you have to pay. If you are spending an entire day and are ready to do some serious eating and drinking, get a day pass. I was there for only a couple of hours, so I didn t bother. The beers were $4 each, I believe. I had their mojito as well, though I hardly ever drink cocktails, I thought that was a mandatory thing to do in Mexico. us airways airline tickets The $7 drink wasn t watered down at all!
The highlight of my trip to Cancun was the fish tacos I had at a little shack in the middle of nowhere. Only the locals were there and that was the only proof I needed to go in and order That was, hands down, one of my favourite meals ever . I gushed about it to all my friends since then and it is probably the main reason why I wanted to get off the boat in Cozumel. To satisfy my craving for some amazing us airways airline tickets goodness, I wandered around the streets. I didn t want to go to Hooters, Señor Frogs, or any other mainstream restaurants. A block away from the main sea-front street was Costa Brava (Address:  Calle 7 Sur between Avenidas Rafael Melgar and 5, Cozumel, Mexico), a family us airways airline tickets owned, us airways airline tickets authentic Mexican restaurant that served up all the dishes I wanted.
I ordered a mixed ceviche, fish tacos and shrimp tacos. These fish tacos were different (the ones I had in Cancun were deep-fried), but in a good way. All of them were excellent and the portions were huge. I also ordered a large bottle of water and a beer. The bill came out to be $48 (plus tips, of course).
Hmm, I realize this is more like one of my Foodiscovery posts. Oh, well. That was my experience in Cozumel so there you have it. Duty Free connecting you to the city from the port was crappy, if you re planning to shop there. DF stores inside NCL Pearl is far better, so don t waste your time. If you re planning to visit Cozumel, I hope you have a wonderful us airways airline tickets time and eat plenty of fish tacos!
