I always book my own airfare - I have never booked it through Disney or let the AAA travel agent do
For those of you who fly, do you book your WDW trip as a package, or do you book your airfare alaska cruise review later? alaska cruise review Airfare out of Memphis is $275 higher for my group of 4 than it was last year. I am planning an April trip, so i want to book my room NOW, but i also want to wait to see if the rate for the flight goes down. It feels like i am playing a game of chicken! Does anyone else do this?
The airline industry is an interesting one. I've spent almost my entire life around aviation and have gotten to know the airline industry very well. I'd suggest you look into AirTran Airways. Northwest is what's called a Legacy Carrier, which means their fares are going to be thru the roof (as are American, Delta, United, etc). AirTran is a LCC (Low Cost Carrier). If you were to choose AirTran, there's a good bet you'd have to connect thru Atlanta. Their time between flights alaska cruise review in Atlanta to connect to Orlando ranges from 30mins to 2hrs I think. I think they only have 1 nonstop flight a day from MEM to MCO, but the rest are MEM-ATL-MCO. Book a flight and then a room (just to be safe... AirTran charges a 75$ fee per person after purchase for changes made to tickets.)
I always book my own airfare - I have never booked it through Disney or let the AAA travel agent do it (although she was quite mad at me over that!). We are fortunate to have SW available - they have great times, nonstop flights, and rates that add up to hundreds of dollars in savings for us here in Pittsburgh to MCO. The prices for NW are outrageous here with poor times, connecting flights, and over a 1 1/2 hr drive to the airport. The only advantage is that airport parking would be free!
Oops?? we booked our reservation for 12/08 I didn't add airfare, I wanted to have a little more control over when we leave on the 5th (early AM to get maximum value on our first day.) Will you fly out of Springfield, Kansas City or St Louis? Try checking with Southwest Airlines also, they sometimes have some pretty alaska cruise review decent internet specials. Have a wonderful trip
Sorry, the Memphis did not register, duhhh me, I saw your SE Missouri and figured one of the 3 airports alaska cruise review in MO. I've been checking Airtran also while their departure alaska cruise review times are in the time span I want the coming home is not, When it gets closer for us to book air travel I will check both. All I can do at this time is check and guesstimate
alaska cruise review I usually always alaska cruise review get my airfare first this way I know I am not paying extremely high prices after I already the rest of the trip planned. I no choice with my upcoming January WDW/Conference trip I am paying over $300 for airfare which is way above my norm. Unfortunately I had to wait until the conference was approved before booking my air since a few weeks earlier the same flight was about $150 less than when I booked it
MOJo, if you are not getting a package, I would book the room now, you can get the deposit back til 5 days before arrival. And if you book the room with Magical Journeys, alaska cruise review they can be on the lookout for deals. Then book the airfare seperate and you can check out all the different airlines online.

We always book our own airfare. Don't forget to check the fares for Southwest Airlines out of Nashville. For a group that size it may be worth the extra drive. I know one year it saved our group of 5 around $500. To save $500 I had no problem driving the extra 2 hours. Nashville is a very nice airport.
