Following on from the success of the inaugural Asia Summit held last year, the 2014 Asia Summit is a high level one day conference that is now a key industry event. The summit will focus on High Opportunity Targets and Actions (HOTA) in Asia, including China, India and Indonesia.
The summit will feature key international speakers, including Peter Colahan, also known in Australia as Mr India . Peter has been involved in the tourism industry for more than 25 years, working rental car in london as Managing Director for VFS Global, an Indian visa processing company, as well as establishing several tour agencies focussed on both group, incentive and luxury Free Independent Travellers from India.

Auckland Airport will also be releasing an updated set of tourism growth ambitions under the banner of Ambition 2025. Also new to this year s summit are two debate sessions which will focus on increasing New Zealand s share of new emerging markets. These sessions will see industry experts debate the topics of Japan / Korea, harvest or grow the strategy for New Zealand? and India or Indonesia? Choosing the right target market to focus on .
The summit is to be held at the Pullman Hotel Auckland on 16 May 2014. The Auckland Airport International Speaker Series is being held every morning before TRENZ commences at The Cloud, from 8am on the 19th to 21st May.
