Anyway tour edge hl driver ... higher math aside, I already bought my pass. Total no-brainer for me, as I have hit 2 of the 3  Squaw/JH/Alta for the past 4 or 5 years in a row, and Aspen is just a few hours by car. Now I have a goal for the season: use all eight tickets. And maybe a few of the half-off.

Man this pass is tempting!  I could see an "Epic" road trip for Michel and I this winter but not sure I can reconcile all the driving versus non skiing time.  Still very tempting and I might even rent a 4WD wagon queen family truckster.
It is not fair, people that are blessed to live and work close to best skiing get to enjoy all those deals. On the other hand - people that fuel ski industry  (one week/family trip/ski school) pay premium price ! Oh well, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.
Temptation is a very big part of marketing and professionals know it.  If you live in Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Virginia or (fill in other 30 spaces) this deal is bad, unless you go all winter long jet-setting around North America tour edge hl driver skiing in style. I guess if you can do that - the deal would be a mute point, just buy a ticket.

True enough, but I am not in the jet-setting class, not by a long shot and this would still make a good deal of sense.  As I posted earlier, one could fly to Reno or SLC, rent a car or use other ground transportation as needed, and take an overnight Amtrak to/from SLC or Reno ($66 one way) then another flight back home.  If one is already planning to do a ski vacation, the MCP deal is very feasable.
My "not fair" comment is sarcasm/irony and not intended to offend anyone. I envy all of you guys living in most beautiful locations that allow you to ski much more than many of us living in the midwest. Please, tour edge hl driver do not raise your blood pressure because of my unsuccessful attempt to be funny.
And also, bad choice of words by claiming this deal is "bad". It just does not do any good for people that take 1-2 trips per year, and there are lot of us doing just that. There are some other deals that might be more beneficial for people that are in similar situation (1-2 trips per year, total of 10-15 days of skiing). Epic Local Pass is one (California/Colorado combo), Ski Lake Tahoe/SLC Superpass (California/Utah combo). What is great about this deal is very fact that this deal is being offered and show shift in thinking on the part of resorts. Competition is a good thing and hopefully more deals like this one will sprout before the season tour edge hl driver arrives.
Maybe PC deals like this, maybe airline tour edge hl driver deals, maybe rental car deals? United used to have a deal for one free ticket tour edge hl driver if you fly the airline to Colorado, some rental car companies had similar deal with one week or longer rental of certain size vehicle, Heavenly ski resort had deals "free" ticket with paid lodging, etc.
This pass works best for people that live close to those resorts, that's where my ill comment came from, those people get to experience full benefit of this deal. In my case two resorts or 4 tickets would most likely be unused. and I had conversation with my co-workers that happen to be skiers as well and their comment to this deal was similar to the one i expressed in my previous (bad, bad) post. If I live within 500 miles from these resorts I would jump on this deal in a beat. Jump in a car, have a 6-8n hour scenic ride, get some good skiing and two days later take the scenic route back home with big smile on my face.
Again, my stupid/ill advised comments are not worthy for some guys to get their blood pressure sky high. I promise I will take into consideration someone sense of humor might be different than mine (maybe too much Olympics can do that to someone's sense of humor?) and heavy proof read my comments before i press "submit". Here we go... "submit", oops, I've done it again...

Now, does it mean I have to buy MCP and "endure" skiing four resorts against my will, which would probably mean pulling my kids out of their private school (they would understand tour edge hl driver that one day) and have my wife get sandwiches ready for a long car ride around montanas de la Estado Unido? No mayo, please!
Nice deal and interesting but I don't see any "free" ski days. I see 8 pre-paid days for $349. The real deal is in the 50% off tix if you have the time to ski a couple of those places for weeks. 2-3 weeks at 2 of those places would be cool!

The idea--at least I think so--is to get skiers that would normally go elsewhere to ski a "bucket list" of mountains in one season.  After all, these are all "real skier" mountains that many people on the east coast dream about.  Sure, some people tour edge hl driver posting here will find a way to take advantage of this deal on the cheap.  Regardless, I'm guessing the idea is to market against Vail Resorts and others to get people who will drop  tourist bucks at three or four of the ski areas promoting the Mountain Collective Pass.  The proposed
