A continuation of the sunset in Sun Moon Lake , we went back to the chalet to freshen up before dinner, and asked the owner to fetch us out after. Before that, we took some time to explore the pier when night fell and observed the night view of Sun Moon Lake. It was peaceful and calm, but not eerily quiet because we were in the centre of the town where it was bustling with activities. Food stalls were busy, music was playing in the background, kids were running around and laughing. It was somewhat relaxing and laid back.
The next day, we took the liberty to walk out on our own but towards the opposite direction of the town. According to one of the brochures I found from the Visitor Centre, there was this place called Shui She Dam located not too far from Crystal Jade Chalet , which was a popular wedding shoot location. Seeing that we had some free time, we were in the mood to hunt for this location!
It looked just like the picture in the brochure, cruises mexico which was incredible, because most pictures shown in brochures are heavily Photoshopped and edited to make them look nicer than they really are. The Shui She Dam was in fact more beautiful in real life than it was in the picture. I guess the ambience and tranquility surrounding cruises mexico the area also played a role to give it an extra doze of romance. Yes, this is perfect for couples looking for a romantic cruises mexico walk down a quiet, romantic place.
After visiting Sun Moon Lake, I now know why we saw so many (at least 4) couples in wedding gown going there for their wedding photo shoot. It was the perfect romantic location with gorgeous natural cruises mexico landscape cruises mexico and fabulous blue skies. For lunch, we returned to the same restaurant that we went to on the first day, located just opposite the Visitor Centre. For just NTD65 (~RM6.50), the portion was really huge and delicious!
One question I asked a lot before my trip to Taiwan was whether Sun Moon Lake was worth the 3+ hours travel down from Taipei, and whether it was a nice place to go to. Well I have been there for 2 days and if you want to know the answer, stay tuned for my next and final post on Sun Moon Lake!
