U2 were forced to postpone their 2010 North American summer tour after lead singer Bono underwent emergency back surgery in May. The plan was always to reschedule the dates for 2011, and today those new dates were revealed.
A statement on U2's website indicated that the original tickets would be honored for each rescheduled date. The band's manager, Paul McGuinness, starwood hotel said in the statement, "We're delighted the dates are rescheduled and in all the same venues starwood hotel we originally planned to play.... Above all we want to thank the U2 fans for bearing with us. They're the best and the band wants to get back to where they belong, surrounded by their audience."
