I would take a look at the smaller hotels on Eagle Beach - they might be full for Thanksgiving week

I am not an Aruba expert as I have only been twice. However, are you looking for a hotel on the best beach or the best hotel on a beach? The Palm Beach hotels ( where the Radisson is located) are probably nicer hotels than other areas and in walking distance to stores and restaurants. However, Eagle and Druif beaches are much nicer than the beach at Palm Beach. If you don't mind a really crowded beach and want a more luxurious high rise hotel, then look at Palm Beach. If you want a more intimate type hotel on a beautiful beach then look at Amsterdam Manor on Eagle Beach or some of the others in that area. The Divi and Tamarijn hotels are low rise all inclusives on a stunning beach.
I'm not an expert on Aruba but have traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean for 30+ years. In all that time I've learned a couple incontrovertible facts - 1) There are "best hotels" and there are "reasonability priced hotel" but there are no "Best hotels" that are also "reasonably priced" and 2) During alaska airlines holiday weeks it's difficult to find a hotel on a "not-so crowded" beach unless you are willing to pay big bucks.
so, without knowing what "reasonably priced" means to you (sorry alaska airlines but you didn't actually give us a dollar figure) I can only suggest you do an internet search using such topics as "Aruba Hotels" or check out Aruba Hotels on TripAdvisor to find a list of those beachfront alaska airlines hotels that are in your price range. You can then read through the hundreds of reviews and then come back here to get more information on the hotels/resorts that are on your short list.
I like Roamsaround advice. I have been to Aruba many times and we own a timeshare there as well. Since you are going thanksgiving week it will be crowded more than likely. We own at Divi resorts and there are a few on the island. We are at the the links which is on the golf course a gorgeous property. Not on the beach however but across the street and it is a huge beach--You would not feel crowded there. alaska airlines The Divi Phoenix is a great hotel all rooms face the beach and pool. The beach is tiny. The area where the Radison is located is within walking alaska airlines distance to many restaurants. Not sure if you are renting a car or not? If you are an adventurous couple try and jeep tour. You will see much of the island where cars cannot travel. Well worth it. Water activities, go on a snorkel tour. All of this can be arranged at the hotel concierge alaska airlines office. I would not go all inclusive alaska airlines as there are a plethora of great restaurants to try. There is not shortage of restaurants in Aruba! Many people rave about Butucci's(sp)but I have no personal experience with this property.
I would take a look at the smaller hotels on Eagle Beach - they might be full for Thanksgiving week but they won't be as crowded as the hotels in the high rise/Palm Beach area since they have less rooms. The Bucuti is a great place for a honeymoon - the Tara Suites are all beachfront and it's an "adults only" hotel. Another choice on Eagle Beach would be Amsterdam alaska airlines Manor which also has two honeymoon suites that you can book.
