Now that we've been able to watch a couple of episodes of the highly publicized show we felt the nee

A few months ago we heard that MTV was going to be making a reality show that focused on Travel Nurses. Originally luxury cars for rent in wa titled “Nurse Nation” and later changed to “Scrubbing In,” we were cautiously optimistic about the new show. As a Travel Nurse agency we were excited about the possibility luxury cars for rent in wa that this new program would shine a light on the hard work of nurses within the travel industry, as well as other related topics such as the nurse shortage and the importance of patient care and safe nurse to patient ratios.
Now that we’ve been able to watch a couple of episodes of the highly publicized show we felt the need to express our disappointment in this show’s portrayal of Travel Nurses. As an agency that works hard to serve our Travelers and create lasting, personal bonds with them, we are disheartened by this portrayal and want to express that this is not how we think Travel Nurses should be shown as it is not representative of the hard-working, focused Travelers that we work with.
Beyond that we want to emphasize the point that what you see on “Scrubbing luxury cars for rent in wa In” is not what we do nor does it reflect the high caliber of Travelers that we staff at Medical Solutions. We accept only the most qualified and professional Travelers, and send them through a 28-point screening process that covers professional, license, education, background, identification, and health requirements. We know that safe patient luxury cars for rent in wa care depends on the Travelers we staff, and by extension, that it depends upon us.
As far as the personal off-the-job choices made by the cast, we do not judge them for that. But on the job some of the things depicted in the show, such as Travel Nurses arriving on a job without proper licensing or playing around out of their unit, would not fly with our highly professional Career Consultants and Travelers.
We hope that “Scrubbing luxury cars for rent in wa In” goes on to portray more of the cast practicing nursing and less drama and, as the National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists (NACNS) called it, “demeaning” footage of the featured Travel Nurses.
NACNS has joined National Nurses United, American Nurses Association, Canadian Nurses Association and a petition on Change.org in urging MTV to cancel the show. NACNS President Carol Manchester wrote, “ This program portrays nurses in a disrespectful and unfair light for purely salacious purposes.  We urge you in the strongest possible terms to cancel it. As the largest group of health care professionals, nurses luxury cars for rent in wa are central to providing and improving our nation’s health luxury cars for rent in wa care. As you must be aware, the United States is facing a shortage of nurses and there are efforts underway luxury cars for rent in wa across the country to encourage young people to enter nursing and increase enrollment in nursing schools. A television program that intentionally reinforces negative and antiquated stereotypes about nurses and that shows them in the worst possible light does nothing to support those efforts, and, in fact, serves to do the opposite.”
And it’s not just nurses who think the show is a miss, AJ Marechal, TV Reporter for Variety, said that the show, “struggles tonally, as scenes of the nurses working with sick patients are largely overshadowed by pointless, aggressive arguments between cast members.”
Hi, I'm Sarah Wengert , a creative content writer for the amazing Medical Solutions based in Omaha, Nebraska. luxury cars for rent in wa While I'm not a travel nurse, luxury cars for rent in wa I love to travel and I truly appreciate the hard, important work that nurses do. I'm very happy to represent luxury cars for rent in wa a company that cares so much about its people. Thanks for reading!
Very sad. I believe these young nurses sold themselves out to MTV. They hoped the show would portray nursing in a genuine light, but they have been dooped. MTV pimped them out and it will affect their nursing careers in the long run. The ratings prove how lousy the show is; Scrubbing In (10:00) MTV 0.521 million viewers, #43; 0.382 million adults 18-49 (0.30 rating), #36.
