But despite flying a few passengers on its maiden flight, the airline’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Maganizo Fly Mazeze, remained optimistic and hinted that the development marked the dawn of an “exciting flying chapter for Malawians.”

I agree with Kholomana. This is weak marketing. They should have invited travel agents, secretaries responsible for booking air tickets in organisations that have staff who travel by air, who is who of the industry.
First of all, Good Luck to the new airline, doesn t matter which country your from or which nationality your staff are what is more important is that you offer a reliable, affordable and safe journey. Leave the politics behind, the days of national pride in an airline are over. I don t like the colours or the design of the logo on the tail, I do like the aircraft as the prop plane is cheaper to run and with number of birds around our airports this is the safer plane to be in during a bird strike. I hope that this airline provides an economical alternative to SAA who has had the monopoly of the JNB-LLW route.
My plea to the new executive team is: please be professional. Don t do zakale zija zochedwetsa ndege just because someone important is running late so you hold the plane until that idiot arrives. Please don t do that. Leave on time. Don t wait for anyone!
