Although this does not surprise me, for I parked my '78 van ( in great shape) hooked to my remodeled '75 trailer 50 yards from my folks place up the street a bit and neighbors who did not know me thought a homeless guy was living in it.Â
You think THAT is bad?  THAT is NOTHING.  I live next door to a burned out condemned house belonging to a hoarder whose best friends are all freaks and tweakers.  A hoarder so bad that he was featured on HOARDERS, the TV show.  The house has sat there, half burned, covered in tarps, for over FIVE YEARS. Tweakers are constantly rummaging through the disaster zone blight that is the yard.  We live in a high end neighborhood and this is the only house like this.  You talk about not feeling safe??  4 a.m. and you have flashlights and tweakers rummaging for scrap.  Yeah, we all feel REALLY safe!  The City of Eugene DOES NOTHING!!
