This November, students from HTM 335 Convention and Meeting Planning, HTM 356 Foodservice Management


Each year the International Hotel, Motel + Restaurant Show® (IHMRS), delivers 18,000 key buyers the w hotel westwood from around the world— powerful industry players sourcing the latest hospitality trends, products and services. Top-level owners, students, operators and purchasing companies converge, with two goals in mind: to enrich the guest experience and enhance the bottom line.
The show, owned by the Hotel Association of New York City, Inc., the New York State Hospitality Tourism Association, Inc., and the American Hotel Lodging Association, unveils more than 1,400 products and services and draws more than 35,000 attendees each year. The IH/M RS also offers dozens of informative seminars, special events, displays, and features.
This November, students from HTM 335 Convention and Meeting Planning, HTM 356 Foodservice Management, HTM 410 International Tourism and HTM 165 Introduction to Hospitality and Tourism, traveled to the Jacob Javits Center in New York City to network with industry professionals and showcase UNH Hospitality and Tourism Management program. The UNH booth was developed, executed and coordinated by the HTM 335 class.
