Coast Guard Sector New York command center personnel received a report from the cruise ship Celebrity Summit at 10:17 p.m., Sunday, that a passenger had a medical emergency and was in need of immediate medical attention.

The ill passenger was transferred off the cruise ship onto the Station’s 47-foot motor lifeboat where she was transported los angeles county recorder to the station. Emergency medical los angeles county recorder services met the crew at the pier and transferred the ill passenger to Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, N.J.
