Governor Jerry Brown appointed Bruce Iwasaki to the Los Angeles County Superior Court. Iwasaki has been a partner at Lim Ruger and Kim LLP since 2006. An experienced trial lawyer, he has handled a wide variety of complex commercial and tort litigation in state and federal courts, including environmental litigation, business and commercial disputes, fraud, and consumer class actions.
Prior to joining Lim Ruger, Iwasaki was the Executive Director of the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles (LAFLA) from 1997 to 2006. Iwasaki also worked at O Melveny and Myers LLP from 1988 to 1997. He previously vancouver corporate travel agents worked at LAFLA in multiple positions including senior counsel and staff attorney. He earned his law degree and bachelor s degree from UCLA. He began his public vancouver corporate travel agents service career as a staff attorney at San Fernando Valley Neighborhood Legal Services.
Among other honors, Iwasaki has received the Loren Miller Legal Services Award from the State Bar of California, the Judge John Minor Wisdom Public Service Award from the American vancouver corporate travel agents Bar Association Section of Litigation, and the Antonia Hernandez Public Interest Award from the UCLA School of Law.
