We have heard a lot of buzz lately about some changes that have been made at the Olde Sedona Bar and Grill such as; they are grinding their own meat for scrumptious hamburgers, cutting their own meat for delectable steaks and putting an overall effort in improving their diner's experience. Add that to the fact that recently the front desk staff at the Inn of Sedona has received a lot of complements about their meals at Olde Sedona Bar and Grill, we thought we should go and check it out.
Three of us decided cheap cruises uk to have an early dinner on a Sunday night after a long day of hiking in Sedona. We arrived at Olde Sedona before dinner cheap cruises uk service started (5:00 pm) but the hostess said it would be no problem to go ahead and order off the dinner menu. I have heard a lot of great things about their Smoked BBQ Pork Ribs, and their Southwestern Burger but all of us were really in the mood for juicy steaks! cheap cruises uk I have to admit I am a steak snob. If I get off the money for a steak, I expect perfection, not an easy order to fill. I ordered the Grilled New York Strip Steak (medium rare) with roasted potatoes and vegetables.
To my delight, they actually got it right (few places do), when I cut into the steak it was actually medium rare! So, now was the big moment, did they over season the steak or was it just right. Let's just say the first bite had me smiling ear from ear. As for my dining companions they both ordered the Grilled Ribeye Steak (rare) and they were smiling just as much as I was.
As far as atmosphere at Olde Sedona, it is definitely a kicked back kind of place, perfect for a family dinner, or a night out with your friends. The outside patio is awesome, and pet friendly, but it was just a little too hot for us that day. There is also a bar area (very busy when we were there) that offers happy hour from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm Monday – Friday and live entertainment most nights at 9:00 pm. Our server cheap cruises uk told us that Olde Sedona was also "the place" to watch Sunday and Monday night football. I might just have to go back this coming Sunday, September 30th, when the Arizona cheap cruises uk Cardinals take it to the Miami Dolphins.
With great food, friendly service, a fun atmosphere and live entertainment Olde Sedona is one place that we will definitely go back to. One note; you are in Sedona, so it won't be cheap, but some things are just worth the price!
