The whispers have positioned the location everywhere from Downtown's forthcoming Ace Hotel to the historic core. Now it looks like Stumptown L.A. is a done deal, with Food GPS positing the location in the Downtown Arts District, increasingly a perfect point to catch a gourmet caffeine jolt.
Tyler Stonebreaker and Michael Smith of Creative Space tell the blog, "the lease is done and...in the approval process." The duo, also opening a location of San Francisco's Le Zinc across from Handsome Coffee youth travel to europe Roasters, is not yet ready to reveal the location.
Currently, Stumptown's website merely says an L.A. location is "coming soon," while the brand's coffee can be found at Brite Spot, The Hudson, Alfred Coffee on Melrose, Clover juice bar, Mess Hall, and Sycamore Kitchen, among others.
