I PAID for that?!? Are there any meals at WDW that you've eaten and been sorely disappointed about? There are so many threads on here about great food, but I'm curious about food that didn't quite hit the mark.
In general, any meal that I've eaten on property has been good if it came from a table service restaurant. alaska vacation cruise I've had more than one blech meal from a counter service. I wonder if I'm just ordering the wrong thing, or if this is true of many CS.

Biergarten in Germany. They seat you at a table with other parties, which is fine. However, alaska vacation cruise they seat several tables at once, and it is a buffet style restaurant. This means that everybody gets in line at one time. I hardly got to taste any of the food offered because you couldn't even get up to the buffet.
The last time we ate at Tony's in the MK. We had an early lunch ADR (like as soon as it opened) and literally 5 minutes after we ordered, our food was put down in front of us. I'd have to read through my TR to remember exactly what I thought of it but I obviously wasn't thrilled with it since we haven't been back since that meal.
I also remember eating at Sci-Fi and not being overly thrilled with the food. Unfortunately that trip was with mom (7 years ago) and I don't know how much of a TR I did, if any, to refer back to what I didn't like about it.

I had really lousy onion rings (soggy) and hard chicken tenders at Good's to Go (counter service at OKW) I was also less than thrilled with the Wave (service was awful) and breakfast at Grand Floridian Cafe (the eggs benedict was lukewarm) Normally, we have really great eating experiences - but I will be hard pressed to return alaska vacation cruise to those places.

For me the worst meal I had was at Coral Reef. I ended up sending my meal back TWICE. They finally got a a decent plate out to me on the third try. But that being said, my folks and I enjoyed watching the fish and sharks in the tank along with goofing around with the scuba diver.

Firstly we missed the parade as we did not want to be a minute late (as we were such a large group) alaska vacation cruise and then we were made to wait 90mins! No where to sit, told not to go far away, it won't be long ...
The waitress was middle aged and had no idea what she was doing (clearly she was not experienced like we first thought) and she missed several orders. She insisted that we should order three courses even though we would not have room for them (I know now that this was because we were on DDP and she gets paid the auto tip on the bill cost). By the time some people got mains others were on dessert! alaska vacation cruise Food was not hot, drinks were not replenished and requests not filled. Overall we were not happy but we wanted to leave to use Toy Story fastpasses. Unfortunately the waitress screwed up the bill (with four families, I understand) and we had to wait for the manager. alaska vacation cruise Manager couldn't see through the mess either and waitress went MIA. Not an experience I wish to repeat.

The only place that I can say I have had a bad meal was at The ABC Commissary - counter service alaska vacation cruise at Disney Studios. I ordered the cheeseburger meal and the whole thing was not good! : I was so surprised! I ended up throwing alaska vacation cruise most of it away.

we also ate at Pizza Planet, many many years ago and would never go back-tasted like frozen pizza. I also find the Lotus Blossom Cafe at Epcot to be meh. I've had better potstickers from the freezer.
I went for a solo trip last May and stayed at POFQ. On the last day I had one CS credit left and ordered a chicken quasidia at the resort. The chicken tasted old and was disqusting. If it wasn't for the fact that I was catching the ME to MCO soon I would have went ahead and got something else.
I thought I was the only one that didn't enjoy Mama Melrose. It just didn't seem Italian enough to me. Tony's has been hit or miss. Two years in a row we visited Tony's and I ordered the same entree both times (chicken parm). The first time, it was delicious and tender and perfect and the second time it just wasn't any of the above. alaska vacation cruise When we want Italian, we stick to the World Showcase from now on. I am spoiled by having Italian family that really knows how to cook very well and having a ton of great local restaurants at home. The same goes for pizza. I just avoid all pizza in Florida.
I'm not a fan of Tangierine Cafe. Not that it's bad, it's just not my thing and I really didn't enjoy what I ordered, and it's been so long that I don't remember what exactly it was. I would be willing alaska vacation cruise to try again.
