Green Destination Orlando was then created along with a checklist for businesses to abide by in order to be considered participants. Businesses are required to track their water and energy consumption and to have a specific procedure for waste management and recycling. Additionally, businesses must use green cleaning chemicals and have eco-friendly housekeeping procedures.
