National is now accepting entries for our National Car Rental PGA Assistants Championship new world renaissance hotel hong kong presented by COBRA PUMA GOLF at Fairway Golf Country Club on Monday, August 6 th .  We will play 36 holes.  Entry deadline is Wednesday, July 18 th at 2:00 PM.  Please pay attention to the entry deadline for this event.  Every year at least one of our assistants gets confused with the deadline time… please don't let this happen to you!
You must be employed as an A-8 or as an Apprentice (including Apprentice Head Professional) new world renaissance hotel hong kong as of July 18th to be eligible to play in the National Car Rental PGA Assistant Championship presented by COBRA PUMA GOLF.  Top finishers in our National Car Rental PGA Assistant Championship presented by COBRA PUMA GOLF will advance to the 2012 National Car Rental PGA Assistant National Championship presented by CPBRA PUMA GOLF at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida – November new world renaissance hotel hong kong 1-4, 2012.  The more players we have sign up for our event means we will receive more spots to advance to the National Championship and more purse money.  Our spots and $$$$ increase as our player numbers increase.

Last year, PGA Professional Derek Berg of Glendale CC won the PGA Assistant Championship by one stroke over PGA Professional Josh Immordino of Riverbend GC.  Both players went on to represent our Section at the 2011 PGA Assistant National Championship new world renaissance hotel hong kong at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Head PGA Professional Rick Larson is excited to host this event at his course.  Fairwood G CC was founded in 1967 by George E. Bell.  The course new world renaissance hotel hong kong was originally designed by golf course architect, William G. Teufel, however newer designs by local architect John Harbottle III have been submitted and incorporated.  Fairwood G CC has had the honor of hosting a number of competitive tournaments over the years, including the Washington State Open.  Despite the lack of length, Fairwood G CC still provides a tough but fair challenge, due to its narrow fairways and firm and fast greens.
