The Peace River Valley Ranch is now available for your private enjoyment! We have over a square mile of old Florida property for you to explore and over a mile of frontage on the Peace River. There are miles of well-maintained trails to walk, bike or drive on. We also have three canoes, two kayaks and an electric golf cart available for your use, included in the rental rate. We own the property on both sides of the Peace River, adding to the sense of privacy. When you enter through the front gate, you will pass our jeep dock where we keep our vehicles, and then our barn. Follow the road for about a mile and you will come to our main cabin (the River House ) located on the Peace River. It has two bedrooms and a loft above the living room, as well as two screen porches, an expansive deck looking over the river, and a fire pit. It s not fancy, but it s comfortable and includes modern amenities like a 46 flat screen TV with satellite, WiFi and a stereo system with Ipod connection and Sirius satellite. If you have a larger group, we have a small guest cabin behind the main cabin that will accommodate two additional guests and a four-bedroom guest house (the Lodge ) that sleeps eight, located about 1/4 mile from the main cabin. We also have an area for large gatherings near the barn with a covered area and picnic tables underneath. This place truly exceeded our expectations . The Pictures do not do it justice .A large group of my friends came up for my 40th birthday weekend.It was very seamless how it worked. We paid on line , got directions,emailed the lock combinations and started our weekend. Wonderful trip away from the city. We had 14 people, all family, ages 14 to 79!! A canoe ride down the river was great, ending with swimming out in front of the cabin. Later, a big gathering around the fire pit was a great way to finish the day.
