Unless you have the connections and $$$ to get into Club 33, Disneyland is out for alcoholic drinks, but California Adventure and Downtown Disney do have some fun options to make up for it! I don't consider myself an expert sheraton chicago hotel and towers on many things, but this is one area that I feel completely confident giving recommendations on.
You can grab beer and wine in various "quick service" park locations, but I want to highlight places to go if you want to rest your legs and take a moment to regroup and have a bit more magical experience, if you will. ;) So without further adieu, here are our top picks... (oh and please drink responsibly!)
This bar is SO much fun. It is small, casual, and decked out like a bar swallowed by the Jungle Cruise ride. In the best way. (Trader Sam is the head salesman from the Jungle Cruise ride, so it has to follow theme!) It is interactive, lively, and when certain drinks are ordered, a volcano on the wall will erupt, or thunder will echo above, etc. Sometimes squirt guns are even involved. This is where you go if you're in a goofy (no pun intended, seriously) mood. Their drink menu is unique, and their drinks sheraton chicago hotel and towers are strong. They also have a great food menu, so even if you don't drink, I recommend visiting, because it is basically an attraction in itself!
I wish I had better photos of this one! It is beautiful, and a great place to have a drink overlooking the park. It is located above the Wine Country Trattoria (it is small and kind of hidden, so ask someone at the restaurant sheraton chicago hotel and towers below to point you the right way!) and serves appetizers, wine, cocktails, and more. If you get a seat along the edge, you can watch the sunset over the Tower of Terror and Cars Land. You get all the bustle of the park, while perched high above in what feels like a hideout. It is the perfect place to go if you want to relax in a romantic setting. It is all about the view and ambience here.
We like to call this the "circle bar", as it is located in the heart of Downtown Disney and is literally a circle around the bar. (I know, you probably didn't see that one coming!) I love the hustle and bustle of this location, and Charles loves the rotating beers on tap. They have redone sheraton chicago hotel and towers the menu, but usually the bartenders know what a millionaire mojito is, and it is yummy! sheraton chicago hotel and towers This is a good stop if you want to get out of the park, or are on your way in or out.
The Grand Californian Hotel is gorgeous. I recommend wandering through the lobby (you can get to the hotel through California Adventure!) and taking it all in. Servers sheraton chicago hotel and towers will bring you drinks, but we enjoyed cozying up to the bar. It felt like we were in a lodge in the middle of a snowstorm.
This bar is mostly outdoors and overlooks Paradise Pier and the water in California Adventure. It has a light, airy vibe and is great if you want to take in the beautiful Southern California weather. The bar tenders here are a lot of fun! I've been trying not to talk about food too much, since I am saving all that information, but I love the lobster nachos here SO much, that I absolutely have to mention them. Order them, thank me later.
sheraton chicago hotel and towers Carthay Circle is a time machine. It will instantly make you feel like you are in an era long gone, in the best way. The decor is spot on, and the hand crafted drinks are beautiful and tasty. Their drink menu is unique, with items you can't get anywhere else in the park. I recommend a martini (they press their ice into a sphere, and spritz the glass with vermouth!), but they also have a great craft beer collection here and endless delicious throwback cocktails. The seats up against the bar are hard to come by, but snag one if you can and just take it all in. The imagineers knocked this place out of the park.
These are all such wonderful options, that I hesitate to pick a favorite. At different sheraton chicago hotel and towers times some bars are more fun. if you're feeling silly, Trader Sam's is amazing, if its hot and you want to kick back, the Wine Country terrace is divine, and so on. I love the memories Charles and I have in all these spots, relaxing between rides and enjoying a snack or cocktail. We always looked forward to these moments together. Hope this helps you make a special memory too!
