Alaska s changes to its mileage plan will begin Jan. 1, 2015 and travelers with a  first-class fare,


Alaska Airlines announced improvements to its frequent-flier program Wednesday, with increased mileage bonuses especially for passengers who buy its  more expensive fares.  It comes as Delta Air Lines and Alaska continue to compete for the Seattle market,  with Delta steadily adding  flights to traditional Alaska-dominated destinations and turning Sea-Tac Airport  into a hub for its flights family florida vacation packages to and from Asia.
Alaska s changes to its mileage plan will begin Jan. 1, 2015 and travelers with a  first-class family florida vacation packages fare, refundable coach fare and many business fares will earn more miles more easily, with  bonuses of 25 to 75 percent.  Alaska s MVP Gold 75K  members will see their bonuses increase to 125 percent, the airline said.  Coach fares will get more modest mileage bonuses.  Here s a look at the changes:
