New interior schemes I applauded, with richer darker wood tones and the more nautical feel to be seen, and the Explorers Lounge! a staple on the new ships even today. This was a grand princess back then, and having sailed her since twice her maiden season, and shortly after her superb dry docking magic in 2011, she shines to this day, and as recently as 6 months ago although I miss Skyalker s as it originally built.
Moving to today, Princess has tried very hard to blend the existing ships with the new builds, with colors and design, while improving upon the older ships and refreshing them to seamlessly appeal to the loyal Princess passengers. I wish Holland America could please me as Princess has with their new ships and the older ones, they, HAL, just ca not seem to get it right.
One cruise line that seems to hit it on the mark is Celebrity. Each and every one of their ships is spot on wonderful, each a touch different from the other ships in the fleet, and each as rewarding to sail as there is at sea.

The three older ships, Sea, Sun Dawn are all currently based in Australia and, as far as I know, will be so for the foreseeable future. If they did they could have Majestic Princess but they could have Holiday Princess (but let s hope not)or Sky Princess, Atlantic Princess, Dream Princess but hey, what am I doing dreaming up names for a class of ship that I would not even bother to cross the road to see!!
