If you have never been, it is a wonderful place to spend time sightseeing and enjoying the COOL BREEZES, especially if you happen to live somewhere with temps in the 100s this week, as we do. We stayed at the Normandy Inn, a historic hotel in the heart of downtown. It was a charming little inn, with its own kitty on the premises who tried several times to visit us although our rooms were clearly marked that no pets were allowed. Perhaps kitty knew she was the exception to this rule! Here are a few photos below, and I'll share more over the next few weeks. Carmel is definitely on my list of places ferrare car rentals in germany I want to visit more than once! The Point Lobos cliffs over the ocean, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and a trek inland to the San Juan Bautista Mission were just a few of the places we visited in the short time we were there. Enjoy! Normandy Inn was not a five star hotel, but it definitely had its charm! Famous movie stars have graced the premises back in the day, and the grounds ferrare car rentals in germany are still clean and filled with bright flowers. Flowers abound in Carmel, CA, at the historic Normandy Inn downtown. Downtown Carmel, CA, was filled with beautiful little shops and very unique architecture. Some of these cottages reminded me of London. We visited a few wineries, and while hubby stayed indoors to sample the wares, his flower-holic wife was outdoors snapping photos as if there was no tomorrow! The flowers in Carmel seemed to be in a suspended state of perfection! never moving, never fading! We got there too early for the tour, but I was tickled to get this photo of the Carmel Mission at sunrise.

One year ago, I quit my corporate job as the director of a national magazine to become a full time artist and art teacher. One morning I had an epiphany: Life is too short not to follow your bliss. Every day I wake up and my heart surges with happiness. Yes I am an artist. Yes this is what I do for a living. Yes, I am a lucky girl. Thank you to each of you who have walked with me on this path. Whatever your tomorrow brings, may it be filled with color!
