Enterprise Holdings, which operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands, today announced it has acquired Triangle Rent A Car , based in Raleigh, N.C. The purchase includes the Triangle brand, locations, websites and a majority of its fleet, including its van and truck rental business.

I still believe that a man/woman who risks his own capital will run a better local shop than a corporation and it s trainees. Frank is well-deserved and justified in his decision, but I don t think this (or other recent M A s) are the kiss of death to the car rental entrepreneur.
