Charles Woodson of the Green Bay Packers has said he will donate $100,000 to the Red Cross to assist families affected by Hurricane Sandy. This isn t the first time the DB has shown his commitment to giving back. In 2009, the former Wolverine donated a romantic weekend cruise $2 million to the University of Michigan s C.S. Mott Children s Hospital.
The eight time Pro Bowl selection said he is grateful a romantic weekend cruise for the sense of community that has allowed the Packers to thrive in Green Bay and that he wants to give back to other communities that are in need.
