just wait, these people, and all of us, will be hit again on this. Businesses all over that area, including the airlines, will be spending millions for lobbyist to have our politicians give them bail outs in tax money. You know, thats how market forces make things right. With other peoples money. Once the water is bailed out, neo capitalist will be working on a tax payer bail out, while fighting to stop any US citizens help from the gov.

edinburgh hotels special offers Okay I feel for those folks going through this , but good grief they are making like they are the only one who ever went through a hurricane.. Before someone edinburgh hotels special offers barks back at me; I live in Texas not far from the gulf where we get hurricanes and you do what you have to do. You get out usually when its above a Hurricane 2.

Jean.....its HlTTlNG 60 million people, not half a mil,not 100 thousand. That many people use lots of water and eat lots of food and need lots of medical attention.A cat 1 storm which is nothing in Texas is a very big deal where this is headed.
I am laughing at the guy in the article complaining about $400 per night for a hotel in Hong Kong!!!!!!!!!!!! If the flight had not been canceled......flew into the storm and went down.......How expensive does that hotel sound now??????????? cheap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Then there's Spirit Airlines, home of the worst seats and least consumer-friendly policies in the skies. Some of its Airbus A320 aircraft offer seats with just 28 inches of legroom and the chairs do not recline at all."
When airlines loose money they just think of new creative ways to take more money from you. Airlines have made BILLIONS on BS baggage fee's. No more food service. Flying used to be a pleasant experience but, now it has turned into airline companies moving cattle. Spirit airlines is the worst. Do not fly on them!
Spirit racked up 8.27 complaints per 100,000 passengers in January, while United finished a distant second-worst, registering 3.5 complaints per 100,000 fliers, according to U.S. Department of Transportation statistics. By comparison, Southwest notched just 0.2 complaints per 100,000 fliers.
Bush who? You mean that guy that everybody in America's forgotten about? Gotta be the same one as the Republican Convention forgot about too huh? Ya it's gotta be that one, the one who totally screwed up the economy and the country and who's party wants to take over again so that we really feel it this time, yup that's the one!
That's an unrealistic proposition. If every weather threat resulted in people cancelling their travel plans there would be even more chaos than this. It would be a financial windfall for the airlines who charge cancellation and re-booking fees.
