On Nov. 20 , the Rosemount City Council approved a proposal from KJ Walk, Inc. to build a 70-room Country self guided atv tours las vegas Inn Suites on the northeast corner of the intersection between Highway 3 and County Road 42. The three-story hotel will include a swimming pool and other amenities. It will be coupled with a new SuperAmerica gas station and car wash.

The site contains eight lots, and the hotel and gas station will only occupy a quarter of the 26-acre space. "We are really excited about it and think it will spur other commercial interests in that area," Kim Lindquist, Rosemount's community development director, told the Star Tribune in a recent article. "We've made the jump to the [east] side of Hwy. 3, where our housing has expanded."
Country Inn Suites is one of several brands owned by the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group , which recently unveiled aggressive expansion plans. The company hope to increase its hotel portfolio by at least 50 percent in less than three years, with a goal of 1,500 hotels in operation by 2015. Carlson Rezidor owns Radisson, Park Plaza, Park Inn and Hotel Missoni in addition to its Country Inn Suites holdings.
