A tour helicopter and small single engine plane have collided in NYC on the West Side of Manhattan killing all aboard . The accident happened just after noon between Manhattan and Hoboken, N.J., and left debris scattered in the water and on the New Jersey shoreline.
The plane was a a Piper PA-32 that had just taken off from Teterboro, NJ heading for Ocean City, N.J. The helicopter was a Eurocopter pier 5 hotel baltimore AS 350 owned by Liberty Tours, a sightseeing and charter company.
