Kelly and Jonathan met in college, started a family and joined lives long before their wedding day.

One of the best locations for NYC wedding photography is the Hudson Hotel . It's a fantastic boutique venue for scenic New York City rooftop weddings with sweeping city views. As you may remember from last month's  sneak peek , this is where wonderful California-based Kelly and Jonathan were married recently.
Kelly and Jonathan met in college, started a family and joined lives long before their wedding day. The bride and groom prepared at the Hudson Hotel early in the day with their bridesmaids and groomsmen. It wasn't long before he was standing in place at the tented rooftop altar waiting for his beautiful bride. A huge smile spread across his face as his adorable daughter (and flower girl), Ava, was carried by a bridesmaid; he then beamed as Kelly's father escorted hotels near detroit metro airport her down the aisle. You could see the guests absolutely melt as Kelly walked past them in her incredible lace gown by Marisa, one arm holding tight to her dad and her other hand carrying a gorgeous hotels near detroit metro airport white and yellow bouquet.
Jonathan towered over his dainty bride as he held her hands in his and spoke his vows. They lit a unity candle and exchanged rings before officially kissing as husband and wife. The energy at the ceremony was infectious and little Ava threw her hands up and smiled in delight it was so precious!
We had an hour to spend taking family and wedding party portraits before the reception began. Our first stop was a secluded part of the rooftop where I took a series of photos of Kelly, Jonathan and Ava with a NYC cityscape in the background. This was, after all, a destination wedding for them and they needed photographic souvenirs of their amazing vacation!
The newlyweds made a grand entrance and danced their first dance to "Always and Forever" by Heatwave. Ava joined hotels near detroit metro airport them midway through the song, and then Kelly's dad cut in for a very sweet father-daughter dance. As the night wore on, friends and family offered touching champagne toasts and danced to the tunes of Deejay RayNice. The wedding cake by Kakes by K was incredibly detailed with white fondant quilting and silver dragées. The little details were absolutely hotels near detroit metro airport perfect!
