I heard rumblings about the Holiday Inn Express and Suites on Polaris Parkway having a fun pool area

I heard rumblings about the Holiday Inn Express and Suites on Polaris los angeles area newspapers Parkway having a fun pool area with a slide.  So when I looked  up the hotel I was surprised that it had much more than a water slide!   In fact the Holiday Inn Express and Suites on Polaris had 2 water slides, mini lazy river, basketball hoops, splash area, olympic lap lanes and leisure pool area!  Now about the water slides… one is for toddlers los angeles area newspapers and one is for older kids. Plenty of chairs and tables in the pool area but NO LIFEGUARD on duty.   This was still swim at your own risk.  The hotel did however provide wristbands for hotel guests so they could monitor guests at the pool.
For our room I booked a King Suite. The suite had 2 rooms (living room and bedroom) and a small kitchenette.  The kitchenette had the basics of fridge, microwave, sink and some disposable plates, silverware and cups.  The hotel does offer a package where you can get a pizza and two liter of soda with your booking, but I opted for snacks for dinner!!!  No worries the next morning we went down to the lobby where a hot breakfast being served and complimentary.  My kids were nuts over the pancake maker machine.
