My husband and I first visited Bali in 1985 before it became Australia s favourite playground . We loved Bali. Travelling between the villages of Sanur and Kuta or into the capital every cheat for habbo hotel city, Denpasar , meant bemo rides through rice fields. We visited temples, the monkey forest , the hot springs at Singaraja and the wood carvers in Ubud . We watched the sun set over the temple at Tanah Lot , parasailed at Lake Bratan and swam beneath the waterfall at Gittgit . Now that was an adventure! There was no car park, no market stalls, every cheat for habbo hotel no other tourists. Our driver parked on the side of the road and we walked a kilometre or two through every cheat for habbo hotel the rice fields to get to the water. We were told that if you swim under a waterfall you ll live a long and happy life. Hopefully that is true.
The wedding we attended in 2011 was held at the Dynasty Hotel in Kuta so we felt it would be easier every cheat for habbo hotel to stay on that side of the island. And that I believe is where my problem with Bali began. Don t get me wrong, we still had a nice time. The wedding was lovely and you couldn t fault where we stayed. every cheat for habbo hotel The All Seasons Legian was a well appointed, good value hotel. But I struggled with the crowds, the endless traffic and not being able to go anywhere without someone constantly in your face.
Fast forward to June 2012. We were planning to take our family every cheat for habbo hotel away for a week s holiday at the end of the year. We looked at a few destination options but when you re paying for four adult airfares, two hotel rooms and the food and beverage bills, budgets are important. And if you live in Perth and you want a budget holiday, there s no better budget holiday than Bali.
I ate my words and booked Air Asia flights to Bali. I checked the tripadvisor and agoda reviews and selected our accommodation, a boutique hotel called the Tamukami in Sanur of course. It was a tranquil retreat and we had such a relaxing holiday. Our days generally consisted of a morning swim, breakfast, a massage at a nearby spa (A$5 for a one hour full body massage or A$2 for a 30 minute reflexology every cheat for habbo hotel foot massage), a visit to the local shops or markets and a walk along the beach. And then it was time to make the biggest decision of the day . where to go for dinner.
We did embark on some outings a shopping adventure to DFS Galleria , a day with the animals at the Bali Safari and Marine Park and a lunch rendezvous with some cousins in Seminyak every cheat for habbo hotel at the very popular Sea Circus Restaurant .
The traffic around Kuta and Seminyak was crazy (can you say it s crazy if it doesn t even move?) I can say though that our 2012 trip cured me of my 2011 Bali blues. every cheat for habbo hotel Whilst I have decided that I won’t stay Kuta side again I can say this about Bali, the Indonesian Island of the Gods ”I ll be back!”
