My husband and I have been talking about a Disney trip with the kids for awhile and last night, we bit the bullet and made our reservations for Walt Disney World . We got a really stellar deal on our hotel stay through norwegian cruise lines service charge Hotwire.com that I wanted to share with you.

I know that for many staying in a Disney property is a big part of the trip, but using Hotwire and finding a highly-rated nearby hotel is actually making this trip really affordable for our family. I was able to spot a few Disney hotels for as low as $90/night and these include shuttle service to/from the airport and parks.)

We were there because my husband was running in the WDW Marathon (I d done it in 2007). It was also my birthday! There are a fair number of rides you can do (think Buzz Blaster, Haunted Mansion, Winnie the Pooh, etc), plus many attractions (like the shows, stuff like Tiki Room, night shows, parades, etc.). At WDW we also love walking around the World Showcase at Epcot. Plus, just being there, eating, shopping always nice. It was a bummer to not be able to do stuff like Splash Mountain, of course, but I was still able to have a fabulous time!

Whenever I m booking something through hotwire or priceline I use betterbidding.com it has a list of all the hotels that those sites have and using the given location and amenities you can narrow down which one it is (not always exact but generally down to 2 or 3 depending on the area).
