The Dallas Stars announced today that Matt McClearin has been named as the studio host of the hockey club s radio broadcast, heard on the Stars flagship station Sports Radio 1310 The Ticket. McClearin will host the pre-game show and intermission reports, as well as road post-game shows.
McClearin is a 10-year radio veteran, having done talk shows in San Antonio, Austin and Dallas. He can be heard on The Ticket every Saturday from Noon 2 PM on his show The Scrubs. McClearin was named as the 2001 Young American Broadcaster of the Year. He enjoys doing community theater and stand-up comedy in his spare time.
